These are Canadian Goose Primary Quills. The leading edge ( outside edge ) is a Biot quill that is 2 toned. Very high quality with limited chips, checks and ruffled sections. Each biot section contains dozens of fibers on each quill. Long fibers allow you to tie longer patterns.
When tied as a body these create the burned peacock effect so prized for Perdigon Euro nymphs. Can be used for Biot dry fly bodies or bodies on Klinkhamers. Dyed over natural dun, these are sold as pairs, no 2 pairs are alike, size of the quills can vary depending on section harvested, these are matched as much as possible.
