Elk Back Strap is some of the longest elk fiber we’ve ever had. This is from the center of the back. The hair is fairly soft and doesn’t flare much. The Tips are tend to be longer. Like the Natural Back Strap, this is ideal for big flies like stoneflies, soft pillows, hexes and the like. Makes a great buck bag material for Canadian Bombers. Bleached light tan with lighter tips. Nice stuff, about 2 1/2” to 3” long.
