Thin Skin is a soft stretchy vinyl strip. This was originated when Wapsi staff members found some vinyl stickers at Pizza Hut. The stickers were soft and stretchy and it dawned on them that this would make a cool fly tying material. They made digital images of actual oak turkey and bustard quills to create the bustard and turkey prints. This material is backed with paper to allow you to cut strips or cut to shape. Often used for the shell backs on Copper Johns. Great for crawdads, stoneflies, wing cases, shrimp or shell backs. We’ve sold this for many years now. 2” x 7” strip.
