Ruffed Grouse Tail, Natural and Red Phase

Description

These are fanned, dried Ruffed Grouse Tails. These include the entire tail clump with the skirt. The tail clumps range from 6-8” long, 10-12” wide and the quills are a bit narrower than turkey. The Red Phase is often used for the famous Breadcrust Nymph. The natural quills are used on caddis or wet flies. Some Native Americans might use these for various dance accessories.
