Mike’s World Famous New Jersey Bodkin Cleaner

This is an authentic New Jersey bodkin cleaner. Many years ago what started as a joke evolved into a great product. I was at a dinner with Chris Reeves and Caroline Emmett of the UK and Chris stuffed salt shakers into Caroline’s purse. When Caroline found them Chris told Caroline that I did it. Next she promptly placed them around my booth at the show. When I found them, I set them up on Caroline’s fly tying table. This went back and forth with me stuffing them inside Chris’s bag and he returning them to a pheasant tail display. For the next trip when they came back to the USA I made a set of these for them as a gift.

Caroline returned the favor by putting these on the cover of the Holiday issue of the Uk’s Fly Dresser Magazine. So here you go, purchase your own bodkin cleaner. To use, insert a bodkin into one of the holes and push up and down, the copper pad removes glues, resin and cleans the bodkin. ( Note: these are sold by the each !)
