Danville 4 Strand Rayon Floss is a traditional material popular with wet fly tyers and New England Streamer types. Floss is often cut and divided, then typically a tyer wets it to wrap it. As it tends to fray. Some wax it. Some also use this for Floss and Partridge soft hackle. It can be split to make it more narrow. This is also often used for making Royal Coachman and old timers used it for the bodies of humpies. Don Bastion used this for all his Ray Bergman patterns.
