Description
The 444 Clear Camo line disguises itself extremely well in a variety of different water types. While the intermediate sink rate of 1.5-2 inches per second brings your fly into the feeding zone. This line is quick shooting and remains supple in cold conditions. This line is similar to the original Little Tunny camo line that was a long time favorite for saltwater anglers. We use this in the Finger Lakes for lake fishing for salmon, browns, rainbows or smallmouth. The camo color believe it or not is almost invisible and is ideal for ultra clear conditions that can spook fish. This has a clear jacket over a 3 color camo mono core. This line is unique to Cortland and is pretty cool. Anglers fishing clear lines for the first time often have a hard time tracking the flies. Watch where you cast and your retrieve. This helps in tracking the line. Also allow the line to sink. Count to 5 , retrieve, count to 5 /wait, retrieve. This allows the fly to fish better.
