Winter Shows: If you can attend, this is a great chance to cast some new rods, learn some new patterns, and check out some of the latest fly tying materials, equipment and see old friends. This winter I will be at the following shows:
The Midwest Fly Fishing Expo, Macomb Community College Sports Ctr, Warren, MI, March 10-11, 2012. This is the first time I have attended this show. The Midwest Expo is one of the biggest Great Lakes/Midwest shows with close to 3500 attending the show. This show has some of the best the Great Lakes has to offer. Ithaca NY, Sat. March 17, 2012. Free day to promote Finger Lakes and
Ithaca Fishing, sponsored by Leon Chapter of Trout Unlimited. Proceeds to
benefit Leon Chandler TU Chapter. Free casting lessons, free aquatic insect
identification, free fly tying lessons. Other vendors include: Mad River
Dubbing, Cortland Line and the Twin Tiers FFF. This is a nice local show
with lots of fun things to watch, see and do. Stop by and say hi, this is

Catskill Fly Tyer's Guild Rendezvous, Rockland House, Rockland, NY, April 21, 2012. Join us for the 10th year? This is a fun one day event open to the public and it is free! 49 tyers from across the Northeast come and demo their best.
